With the increasing automation and complexity of processes in a Company, internal auditors are gradually being relied upon by the Board of Directors thru the Audit Committee to provide a timely and reasonable assessment on the effectiveness, efficiency and reliability of its critical processes and reports (financial and non-financial).  In most cases, internal auditors are often caught off guard with the challenges presented by this new environment.  This condition has lead to internal auditors from equipping themselves with the right capability and tools to ensure that large volume of information obtained from operations team are analyzed and processed in an effective and efficient manner.
