VISION
A volunteer leader at The IIA is a person who takes pride in the profession and wants to make a difference for the future; one who is forward-thinking; one who takes a stand for professionalism and competency; and one committed to elevating the practice of internal auditing.
For members of IIAP, we offer exclusive opportunities to share and showcase your expertise and skills to become future leaders of the Institute. IIAP volunteer-leaders are selected for their competence, professionalism and leadership qualities. As result, they receive training, professional recognition and opportunities for continued growth in their profession. Your participation also brings many benefits to the volunteers’ organization.
Advocacy Pool:
Being in advocacy means working to positively raise the profile and influence of internal auditing. IIAP continues to partner and reach out to various organizations, sectors and communities. Join this pool if you like to be involved in:
- Perform validation of ISA Partner government agencies’ performance governance system (PGS) pathway
- Perform ICD’s Asean CG Standards (ACGS) compliance validation of Public Listed Companies
- Visits to universities and forum with students, faculty & admin
- Networking and company visits
- CSR Activities.
- Quality assurance work to promote IA standards
Creative Pool:
IIAP needs creative, talented individuals that can help advance the Institute’s marketing and publication efforts. Join this pool as a:
- Writer, contributor, designer, and editor of the newsletter, brochures, website and other materials
- Developer of programs to enhance the brand and professional image of the internal auditor
- Host, supporter and organizer of events such as the GMM, sportsfest, Christmas Party and other social activities
Developer and Contributor Pool:
IIAP invites experienced practitioners, subject matter experts and industry specialists to develop new seminars and trainings. You can share your knowledge as a:
- Developer – prepares the course outline, ppt materials, case studies and instructor guides
- Contributor – provides comments and inputs on the training materials
IIAP’s Professional Development team will guide you in the seminar development process.
Speaker Pool:
IIAP professional speakers bring a proven track record of experience and expertise to the professional development programs. You could be part of this pool if you have:
- Expertise and practical knowledge in key subject areas
- Passion for teaching and can connect well with your audience
IIAP will provide trainors’ training and shadow speaker opportunities.
