Forensic Techniques for Internal Audit

The slew of digital transformations undertaken by numerous organisations over the years have led to a higher level of interconnectivity. While digitalisation offers vast opportunities, it also presents its fair share of risks with a broader attack surface. This has been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic which had accelerated technology adoption and caused a massive migration of business activities and processes online.

The Auditor, Relationships and Trust

The need to “Work From Home” (WFH) is one of the downsides of “Social Distancing” (SD), isn’t it?

Yet maintaining distance is something that every Auditor is familiar with, as some of us may have used it as a justification for maintaining objectivity and independence.
