Each year, IIA-certified holders are required to self-certify as to the completion of the required continuing education hours. It is also the IIA-certified holder’s responsibility to assure that the CPE hours claimed conform to the guidelines established by The IIA’s Professional Certification Board (PCB). CPE reporting forms are submitted annually (no later than December 31 each year).

Audit
The IIA will randomly sample a percentage of all candidates reporting CPE each year to confirm candidates are abiding by the CPE program rules. Failure to participate in the audit once notified will results in your status being moved to an INACTIVE status.
