Several enhancements to the Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS) to further
streamline the candidate experience:
• Candidate Re-registration Period: Effective 27 July 2020, the 60-day restriction preventing
candidates from re-registering for a failed exam has been removed. Re-registered candidates
who schedule their exams will only see availability in the PearsonVUE system after 60 days
from the date of the failed exam attempt.
• Printed Certificates: Candidates may now order printed certificates from their CCMS
homepage. It may take up to 15 weeks for delivery depending on country of residence as
printed certificates are shipped through standard post.
• Existing Exam Application or Registration: If a non-member candidate has started an
application or exam registration and then becomes a member they must open a new case in
CCMS for Affiliate Certification Support to reset their application and/or exam registration only
if the pricing has not been updated to reflect member pricing. Please consider obtaining an IIA
membership prior to starting any applications or exam registrations, to avoid inconvenience
and loss on non-refund of fees already paid.
• Exam Security: As exam security is of high importance to The IIA, the Professional
Certifications Board, and Pearson VUE we have created an Exam Security Team to enhance
processes and procedures and increase investigative measures to protect The IIA’s exam
intellectual property (IP). We have added the processes and procedures to report incidents
that may occur on the Exam Security page.
