The Internal Audit Foundation has some exciting news: We are enhancing our bookstore operations to better serve our customers and streamline the handling of orders. As part of our planned changes, we are migrating to a new warehousing and fulfillment vendor, modernizing and upgrading our e-commerce system and improving efficiency through integrations with upgraded shipping and account software.
In preparation for the migration of our product inventory and e-commerce system upgrade, the IIA Bookstore will be taken offline effective at midnight Eastern Time on 28 December 2020. It will remain offline until the inventory transfer and system upgrade is complete mid-January.
We realize this outage may present an inconvenience for some of our members. However, we scheduled these activities to align with a period when sales activity is typically low.
Customers who visit the site will receive an outage message directing them to third-party partners where many of our products are available. Print publications may be available on Amazon.com, while digital editions of some of our most recent and in-demand publications are available in the Amazon Kindle format and online via VitalSource.com.
